What is a serviced office?

A serviced office provides the ultimate in flexible and adaptable office space. The offices are part of a large area comprising partitioned spaces that are fully serviced, with central, manned reception and switchboard, kitchen area and meeting rooms. You pay only for the space you need, as and when you need it. No long contracts, there is usually a small deposit, but there are no outgoing costs. You can sign up monthly, though you will often get a better deal if you can commit to a year. However, this is not necessarily the point. The flexibility means no need for long term commitment. If your business or the market changes you can grow or contract, or even terminate, to meet exactly the needs of your business.Fully furnished, the monthly cost includes rates, utilities, cleaning and maintenance, building management, building insurance, high speed broadband and telephone.

What is a virtual office?

Using the same facilities, the business centre can provide a mailing address and/or telephone answering service. This gives you a professional image, adding to your credibility if you are, say, working from home.Calls are answered in your company name and dealt with efficiently. Your mail if forwarded to you in whatever way you arrange. You also get access to all the on-site services like copier and printing, fax to email, voicemail, etc.

What is a workstation?

A workstation for each individual will normally comprise desk, pedestal storage unit, chair, telephone handset and internet access.

What is a hot desk?

A hot desk is bookable by the hour or day. It is a complete workstation, although usually without any storage, most likely in a large open plan office, with some form of screening. You will have WI-Fi access to the internet, power point and access to all the usual business centre services.
